Our commitment

The Blissful Beginning is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including guests and family members who use assistive technology. Our development target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

What we have built and tested

• Every page is navigable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
• Form fields have programmatic labels, helper text and clear error messages, and the confirmation is announced to assistive technology.
• Each page has one main heading, and section titles follow in order.
• Informative images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Text and interface colours are chosen for readable contrast.
• Movement is reduced automatically for anyone whose device requests reduced motion, and no content depends on animation to be readable.
• Pages are tested at phone, tablet and desktop widths, and text can be enlarged without the layout breaking or scrolling sideways.

Still being verified

Testing with screen readers, including NVDA, VoiceOver and JAWS, and a full review at 200 percent zoom are in progress. We will update this statement as each area is confirmed.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time task. We review new pages and content as they are added, and we welcome reports of anything that is difficult to use.
